Remington Keratin Treatment Hair Straightener

Hi lovelies!
I have recently purchased the Remington Keratin Treatment Hair Straightener, I got it for $79.95 (AUS)... it was on special, it is usually $103.

I chose to by this particular hair straightener merely because of the keratin in the plates. I was looking for a decent straightener that wouldn't damage my hair as much as they usually do and I thought the keratin in it might help. It has a sensor on it aswell which I thought was pretty cool, so it senses the condition of your hair and automatically adjusts the temperature accordingly (this is optional to use this feature!)

Holding the hair straightener feels really good. It isn't too heavy that your arm will start to hurt as you straighten your hair, and its not too light. The buttons on the side are alittle hidden from your hand when you actually hold it so you cant accidently press a higher or lower temperature setting as you straighten (which I've done over a thousands times!)
It isn't too thick and it isn't too thin, I think it is the perfect size for any size hair.

Actually using the straightener, I was happy with it, but not completely happy with it. I am easy going when it comes to hair straighteners because I have thin hair and it's medium length so it never takes me too long to straighten it anyways. But it did take 2-3 times going over with it for it to actually straighten completely. So if you have really thick or long hair I probably wouldn't recommend this... Maybe I don't have it on a high enough temperature, but I try hard not to damage my hair so I am not going any higher (I have it on 200).

Since the straightener has the sensor on it, the top plate as a slight dent in it for the sensor is placed, causing the straightening process not to feel completely smooth. I have heard different people say it feels like the straightener sometimes pulls on their hair... I have never had this happen to me but you can definitely hear the difference. But again, I am easy when it comes to this so I look past it.

After straightening your hair I can safely say it stays straight for the whole day. in fact, it will stay straight until your next hair wash. This is what I love about this straightener because my old one, the VS str8 up hair straightener, didn't even last a day. I would come home from work at the end of the day with the ends of my hair starting to curl again. ahhh how annoying.

Doing curls with this straightener is amazing, also. the top of the straightener thins, making it easier to hold and easier to make curls.

So in conclusion, I like this hair straightener simply because it does the job and lasts a long time, as well as not damaging me hair as much as other straighteners. If you're looking for the same results, I would recommend this product. However if you have thick hair, wanting something quick and easy im not too sure how you would like this. It does take a few go-overs so if this is something you hate, I wouldn't recommend it for you. Then again, I have never used a straightener that you go over once and its completely perfectly straight that lasts until your next wash.

I hope you guys have found this helpful!

Toni&Guy Hair Products!

Hi guys!
So I have been searching and searching for some nice quality yet not too expensive hair products that seem to actually make a difference, and those products would have to be Toni&Guy!

I have always seen the brand at the shops before and thought meh, I've never heard much about them I wont bother trying. It was just last week when I was scooping for a comb in my Mother's bathroom that I came across her leave in conditioner. My hair was damp so I thought why not, ill give it a try. When my hair dried, I could instantly feel the moisture back into my hair and it felt AMAZING!
My hair is generally dry and kind of damaged because I straighten it a lot. Oops!

I began using this for a few washes and I can tell my hair is already in better condition. I ran out and got the reconstruction mask and the detangler as well!
The reconstruction mask did wonders for my hair and I have read a lot of great reviews from other people too. I strongly strongly stronglyyy recommend you give it a try if your hair is feeling dry or damaged!
The detangler worked okay I suppose, I did notice it more shiner and smoother, but I didn't find it actually detangling my hair. This is probably the only product from them I have used that I wasn't completely satisfied with. I don't think ill get it again because I don't see too much of a difference.

The next few days I saw there was a sale on for Toni&Guy so I bought the damaged shampoo and conditioner, the dry shampoo and another bottle of the leave in conditioner! I absolutely  LOVE the smell, it smells like you've just come from an actual salon. Some people say it smells like chemicals... maybe a tiny little bit but at the end of the day isn't that what all these products are? LOL and I actually love the smell!

I am yet to try any of their other products but I'm sure ill have every toni&guy product within the next few months!

Please comment and tell me if you have tried any of the Toni&Guy products and what you thought of them, or if you have any questions just let me know!
