Relationship Shifty.

Lately I have been observing other peoples relationships and just relationships in general. No judgement to them but I have come up with a list of "shifty" things a person in a relationship does... or things that make you think what the f... ? I, myself am in a relationship so these are just some wacky things I hear from my friends that just don't seem right. This list is totally MY opinion only, not any facts!

1. My friend's boyfriend lives 40 minutes away from her. They see each other maximum once a week.. sometimes once every 3 weeks because "it costs too much petrol" , "theres too much traffic", "it wont be worth seeing you for such little time". okay, what? my boyfriend lives 40 minutes away from me and we see each other 4-5 times a week! I do not understand this! is this normal behavior?? if you love someone, do you not want to see them whenever you get a chance? I personally don't mind the 40 minute drive to my boyfriends house because its like gold at the end of the rainbow! you need to slide down that rainbow for awhile to get that gold! in other words, its worth it no matter what!

2. "Babe, I went to the gym today, i'm going to be so sore, I wont be any fun. ill just see you another day" This is just ridiculous. I go to the gym almost every day. you cant let soreness stop you from your every day activities. especially seeing your girlfriend! what will you be doing differently at home by yourself than with her? just sit down and watch a movie with her! stop making excuses!

3. "Is it okay if I go away with this chick for a week? She's my best friend. It's okay, she's a lesbian." may I add, this is the same guy who see's hes girlfriend like twice a month. haha, how about you take your girlfriend away instead? this is crazy stuff.
'
4. "My chick friend slept over last night. We didn't do anything though" In my opinion, if you're in a relationship, other girls sleeping over and sleeping over other girls houses are just a no no, no matter what you do and don't do. just no.

These are just a few things from the top of my mind! some relationships need to know when enough is enough and to go their separate ways. no judgement!

My Haircare Routine!

Hi Guys!

As of a few months ago, my haircare routine was basically wash my hair every other day and that was it. I didn't really understand how to maintain my hair properly but I have been taking much care lately and it has made a HUGE difference to my hair. Not only does it feel smoother, look shiner and is just healthy overall, but its growing quicker and feeling thicker too.

As you would know by now, I am a huge Tony& Guy fan so all products used are toni and guy products unless told otherwise.

So first off, I begin by washing my hair. Regular shampoo and conditioner. Once I get out of the shower I apply my leave in conditioner, which in my opinion is crucial to having healthier hair! I also apply a detangler at this time too. After that, I comb it through and let my hair air dry, or if im in a rush to go I will blow dry my hair on the coolest setting.
Every week, I would use my reconstructive mask (aka deep conditioner) just to get that extra clean. This is so vital as well, I cant stress enough!

After my hair is dry I just brush through it and apply my anti frizz serum to my bangs and top of my head... a lot of people advise to not go anywhere near the roots with this stuff because itll make your hair oily but I only use the tinest bit. my hair usually lasts 3 days without a wash if I don't use this serum but if I use it I have to wash every second day. so it does make your hair oily but not straight away and not excessively.

Now I usually straighten my hair because my hair is wavy/curly... but its not a nice wavy is a crazy I-havnt-don't-my-hair-in-years crazy so at this stage ill grab my hair protectant spray from tresemme and spray it over and straighten my hair! my hair will be straight until I wash my hair next.

Every second day, repeat, and there you go. my hair care routine!

Toni and Guy Anti Frizz Serum

I am completely obsessed with the whole Toni&Guy hair care range! I have mentioned some other products in an earlier post but I have been wanting to get this anti frizz serum for awhile now! It comes in a tiny bottle, but totally worth it. I only use about 3 drops which last for a few days... well until you wash your hair anyway!

This is just an all round amazing product. I like that you don't need to use it when your hair is wet because I already put a leave in conditioner and a detangler on once I come out of the shower, I thought putting another layer on might just over do it. But no, you can put it on whenever you want, I usually get the frizziness at the front of my hair where my bangs are... I get a lot of fly aways aswell. this fixes it all! but of course on a windy day it will still help with the frizz but the fly aways will still creep back.

definitely recommend this product, its $15.99 in Aus but keep a look out in Priceline as they usually have specials for Tony&Guy products :)

Nutrimetics Hydrafinity Skin Care Range

About a year ago, I became a nutrimetics consultant and got these products to try. I chose the hyrafinity range mainly because I have normal - oily skin. This range has a few different steps for a best results.
1) Cleanse
2) Tone
3) Moisturize
4) Optional: use eye moisturizer to get rid of puffiness and darkness under the eyes

...I didn't like these at all. AT ALL. they did nothing for me.
the cleanser felt like it stripped my face. the toner was the best, its in a spray bottle which makes it incredibly easy to apply. But I didn't feel nor see any good results. The moisturizer felt SO heavy on my face. at first I thought I must of used too much but even using the slightest just made me go uckk.
the eye moisturizer didn't do anything either! It just felt like unnecessary layering of products on my face.

I guess all of this blocked my pores. Every time I use it my face breaks out. They might tell you its just getting all the crap out of your pores but no I definitely think its causing some blockage! I mean the toner feels good when you're in the shower and you need to get the make up off your face but that's all I really use it for.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this product. I might have just been an unlucky one but it was just a bad experience overall. Sorry Nutrimetics. It just didn't do it for me.

Remington Keratin Treatment Hair Straightener

Hi lovelies!
I have recently purchased the Remington Keratin Treatment Hair Straightener, I got it for $79.95 (AUS)... it was on special, it is usually $103.

I chose to by this particular hair straightener merely because of the keratin in the plates. I was looking for a decent straightener that wouldn't damage my hair as much as they usually do and I thought the keratin in it might help. It has a sensor on it aswell which I thought was pretty cool, so it senses the condition of your hair and automatically adjusts the temperature accordingly (this is optional to use this feature!)

Holding the hair straightener feels really good. It isn't too heavy that your arm will start to hurt as you straighten your hair, and its not too light. The buttons on the side are alittle hidden from your hand when you actually hold it so you cant accidently press a higher or lower temperature setting as you straighten (which I've done over a thousands times!)
It isn't too thick and it isn't too thin, I think it is the perfect size for any size hair.

Actually using the straightener, I was happy with it, but not completely happy with it. I am easy going when it comes to hair straighteners because I have thin hair and it's medium length so it never takes me too long to straighten it anyways. But it did take 2-3 times going over with it for it to actually straighten completely. So if you have really thick or long hair I probably wouldn't recommend this... Maybe I don't have it on a high enough temperature, but I try hard not to damage my hair so I am not going any higher (I have it on 200).

Since the straightener has the sensor on it, the top plate as a slight dent in it for the sensor is placed, causing the straightening process not to feel completely smooth. I have heard different people say it feels like the straightener sometimes pulls on their hair... I have never had this happen to me but you can definitely hear the difference. But again, I am easy when it comes to this so I look past it.

After straightening your hair I can safely say it stays straight for the whole day. in fact, it will stay straight until your next hair wash. This is what I love about this straightener because my old one, the VS str8 up hair straightener, didn't even last a day. I would come home from work at the end of the day with the ends of my hair starting to curl again. ahhh how annoying.

Doing curls with this straightener is amazing, also. the top of the straightener thins, making it easier to hold and easier to make curls.

So in conclusion, I like this hair straightener simply because it does the job and lasts a long time, as well as not damaging me hair as much as other straighteners. If you're looking for the same results, I would recommend this product. However if you have thick hair, wanting something quick and easy im not too sure how you would like this. It does take a few go-overs so if this is something you hate, I wouldn't recommend it for you. Then again, I have never used a straightener that you go over once and its completely perfectly straight that lasts until your next wash.

I hope you guys have found this helpful!

Toni&Guy Hair Products!

Hi guys!
So I have been searching and searching for some nice quality yet not too expensive hair products that seem to actually make a difference, and those products would have to be Toni&Guy!

I have always seen the brand at the shops before and thought meh, I've never heard much about them I wont bother trying. It was just last week when I was scooping for a comb in my Mother's bathroom that I came across her leave in conditioner. My hair was damp so I thought why not, ill give it a try. When my hair dried, I could instantly feel the moisture back into my hair and it felt AMAZING!
My hair is generally dry and kind of damaged because I straighten it a lot. Oops!

I began using this for a few washes and I can tell my hair is already in better condition. I ran out and got the reconstruction mask and the detangler as well!
The reconstruction mask did wonders for my hair and I have read a lot of great reviews from other people too. I strongly strongly stronglyyy recommend you give it a try if your hair is feeling dry or damaged!
The detangler worked okay I suppose, I did notice it more shiner and smoother, but I didn't find it actually detangling my hair. This is probably the only product from them I have used that I wasn't completely satisfied with. I don't think ill get it again because I don't see too much of a difference.

The next few days I saw there was a sale on for Toni&Guy so I bought the damaged shampoo and conditioner, the dry shampoo and another bottle of the leave in conditioner! I absolutely  LOVE the smell, it smells like you've just come from an actual salon. Some people say it smells like chemicals... maybe a tiny little bit but at the end of the day isn't that what all these products are? LOL and I actually love the smell!

I am yet to try any of their other products but I'm sure ill have every toni&guy product within the next few months!

Please comment and tell me if you have tried any of the Toni&Guy products and what you thought of them, or if you have any questions just let me know!

xoxo
